Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- An inaugural ceremony for the German preparatory committee for commemorating the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and the Day of the Sun and February 16 in 2009 was held in Germany on Dec. 22.
Present at the ceremony were personages and members of the German branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain and the German Group for the Study of Songun Politics.
The chief of the group was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the ceremony.
The committee planned to hold colorful functions including seminar and book and photo exhibition on the occasions of the important days.
