Born into a farm servant's family, Choe had to suffer every kind of humiliation and insult during the past dark days of national ruin. It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she could lead a life worthy of human being.

She worked hard to contribute to increasing the grain production with the will to repay the benefit of the socialist fatherland. Even after being retired, she did not stop working.

She is now in good health as she is leading an optimistic life while having balanced diet.
