On display in the venues of the events were photos showing Kim Jong Il's Songun leadership exploits and books and photos introducing the Korean people in their efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful nation and reunify the country.

Matteo Carbonelli, secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that the Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il is the most just and realistic mode of politics as it makes it possible to firmly defend socialism and the sovereignty of the nation from the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK.

He stressed that the Korean people would surely emerge victorious in their efforts to build a great prosperous and powerful nation and reunify the country as they are guided by the Songun politics.

Miriam Pelegrini Feri, president of the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy, said that the Korean women have become full-fledged masters of the state and society. This would have been unthinkable without the noble life of Kim Jong Suk who devoted her all to the women's social emancipation and the strengthening and development of the women's movement, the president said, adding that her undying feats would remain long in the history of the Korean women's emancipation movement and the world women's movement.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting held in Mongolia.
