The performance was appreciated by working people in Pyongyang.

Present there on invitation were the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, overseas Koreans staying in the socialist homeland, diplomatic envoys of different countries and representatives of international organizations here and other foreign guests.

The performance started with chorus "Song of General Kim Jong Il".

Put on the stage were such numbers as orchestra and chorus "Snow Falls" and choruses "The Forest Sways" and "The Sound of a Horse's Hooves in Mt. Paektu".

The performers impressively represented the personality of General Secretary Kim Jong Il as a great man born of Heaven, who is turning socialist Korea, liberated and built by President Kim Il Sung going through a protracted and bloody anti-Japanese war and pushing his way through endless snow storms, into a powerful country of Juche where the desire of the revolutionary forerunners comes true.

Male vocal solo and chorus "Desire of a Soldier " and "For the Motherland", choruses "Let Us Continue Our Revolution under the Banner of Songun" and "The Road of Victory" and other numbers helped the audience renew the will to perform heroic feats in the struggle to usher in a glorious heyday of Songun Korea by inheriting the great tradition of great revolutionary surge.
