Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- An event of laying a floral basket before a portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung was held at Kim Il Sung Economic Special School in Cuba on Dec. 30 last year on the occasion of the New Year, Juche 98 (2009).
Present there were personages of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples and Kim Il Sung Economic Special School and people of Cuba and the DPRK ambassador to Cuba and staff members of his embassy.
They placed a basket of flowers before the portrait of the smiling President and paid tribute to him.
