Group of Traitors in S. Korea Bound to Face Stern Judgment of History

Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- The Grand National Party of south Korea is the main anti-reunification force standing in the way of the advance of the era of independent reunification as it is a shock brigade for traitor Lee Myung Bak's moves to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK. It is, therefore, one of the important tasks facing the Korean nation to smash its moves.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes this in a signed article.

It goes on:

The GNP has become the root cause of all sufferings and misfortune as it has committed indelible crimes against the country and nation by succeeding to the sycophantic, treacherous and anti-reunification policy of the successive fascist rulers.

It is the worst crime committed by the GNP last year that it drove the north-south relations to a catastrophic crisis by negating the historic north-south joint declarations and hamstringing the efforts to implement them.

It is also an unpardonable crime that it adopted the ignition of a war of aggression against the north as a policy and worked hard to impose a nuclear war disaster upon the nation.

By nature, the GNP gentries are a group of traitors who do not hesitate to sell off the interests of the nation for the sake of their personal fame and success and selfish interests in utter disregard of the country, the nation and reunification and a group of nasty political charlatans greedy for power and chief culprits of irregularities and corruption.

It is not hard to guess what disastrous consequences the south Koreans will suffer again in the future if they fail to put an end to the misrule of the GNP and bring the group of traitors to justice of history.

The above-said treacherous party should be disbanded and its gentries be forced to stand the people's trial.

Only a stern judgment of history will await the above-said party as it has done only things harmful to the country and the nation.
