Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- The Press Trade Union of south Korea which has been on a general strike for twelve days held a rally in Seoul on Jan. 6 demanding the "Grand National Party" stop its move to retrogressively revise the law on media, according to CBS and KBS of south Korea.
Attending the rally were more than 3,000 people including members of the KBS and MBC trade unions and the private broadcasting trade union and members of organizations under the Press Trade Union in different parts of south Korea.
At the rally, the Press Trade Union declared that it would hold a rally and candlelight demonstration, etc. in different parts of the city demanding the withdrawal of the proposal for revising the above-said law.
