Present there on invitation were Choe Jin Su, DPRK ambassador to China, and embassy officials. Officials of the Chinese Foreign Ministry including Hu Zhengyue, assistant to the foreign minister, were on hand.

The participants visited a pharmaceutical factory of a company in Beijing and saw an art performance given by Chinese artistes at the Diaoyutai Guesthouse.

They deepened friendship talking about the need to open a new chapter for boosting relations between the two countries by significantly holding colorful functions and activities in the significant "year of the DPRK-China friendship."
