These are the thrice-cursed outbursts intended to reduce the DPRK, an independent and sovereign state, to a "subject country" of somebody and colonize it.

Ishihara is nothing but a political hysteric without an equal as he denied the existence of a sovereign state itself and did not hesitate to assert that it should be "annexed" to other country in the political, economic and military aspects.

His reckless outbursts are lashing the Korean people into great fury as they seriously hurt the dignity of the DPRK.

Ishihara called a modern day Hitler has got more frantic than anybody else in "justifying" Japan's military occupation of Asian countries in the past.

This is evidenced by his assertion that the Pacific War fought by the Japanese imperialists was a "war for liberating colonial countries" and the "Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty", aimed at legalizing Japan's occupation of Korea, was concluded by "the general will of the Koreans."

Due to the Japanese imperialists' policy of colonial rule over Korea which he has repeatedly justified, the Korean people were subject to harsh exploitation and oppression and the dignity of the Korean nation was mercilessly violated in the last century.

Nevertheless, Ishihara blustered that the Korean people should be "annexed "to a neighboring country. This is the most unbearable insult and challenge to the DPRK and the Korean nation.

Lurking behind such utterances of the said lunatic intended to justify Japan's history of aggression and make a new "colony" in Northeast Asia is a sinister intention of the Japanese reactionaries to dodge the settlement of the past and step up Japan's militarization.

Ishihara is a guy representing Japan's ultra-right conservative forces preoccupied by the ambition for overseas expansion and aggression and a spokesman for them.

It is their calculation that if the DPRK was "absorbed" by somebody, as asserted by him, there would be no discussion on the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists against the Korean people and no issue of reparation would surface on the international arena. This is, indeed, a foolish dream.

The DPRK is a universally recognized legitimate sovereign state and its territory is a precious asset for its people's life and wealth for the prosperity of all generations to come.

We will never allow anyone to encroach upon our inviolable sovereignty and territory.
