Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- Lee Myung Bak is not qualified to claim to be a Korean as he refrained from uttering even a single word about the Tok Islet issue when meeting Japanese Prime Minister Aso during the latter's junket to south Korea. Tok Islet is part of the inalienable territory of Korea and the issue of the islet is a crucial matter of whether the Korean nation protects its sovereignty and dignity and its territorial integrity or not. Japan has become all the more arrogant recently, giving its eye-teeth for the islet. This has aroused deep concern among all Koreans. But Lee Myung Bak who claims to be "president" of south Korea failed to mention even a single word about the islet before the Japanese prime minister who openly threatened to seize part of the territory of Korea. Lee is not in a position to claim to be a Korean, to say nothing of being "president". Lee knelt down before the foreign aggression forces again, talking about "pragmatism". This clearly proves that "pragmatism" much touted by him is no more than the treacherous idea based on the idea of flunkeyism and submission from A to Z. Lee is a servant of outsiders as he serves Japan more faithfully than Japanese after taking office in "Chongwadae." By nature, Lee is a die-hard pro-Japanese as he was born in Japan and has even Japanese name. During his junket to Japan last year this traitor, bereft of even an iota of national self-esteem, failed to mention the issues of Tok Islet and history but cried out for "improving the relations" with Japan. He bowed to the Japanese king twice, calling him "emperor," during this visit and thus hurt the self-respect of the Koreans. He let such pro-Japanese elements as the former ambassador of south Korea to Japan, a former Dong-A Ilbo correspondent in Tokyo and a guy who was post graduate from Tokyo University hold important posts in the "government" and did not hesitate to make such humiliating remarks that he would not often ask Japan to make apology. The successive rulers of south Korea were all hell-bent on sycophancy and treachery but none of them was so faithful to the outsiders keen on grabbing the territory of Korea as Lee was. No wonder, even the right-wing media of Japan broke into shouts of joy, calling him "rare pro-Japanese president." The Lee group is leaving south Korea to the tender mercy of the Japanese reactionaries keen on reinvasion lock, stock and barrel. It is silently supporting Japan's moves to seize Tok Islet by sidestepping or conniving at the issue and rewriting history textbooks in a bid to whitewash Japan's past aggression and justify the acts of treachery committed by pro-Japanese elements. The public is censuring this group of traitors for becoming more desperate in the moves to tamper with history than the Japanese reactionaries. Not a few countries and regions underwent sufferings due to the Japanese imperialists' aggression but it is only the Lee group of south Korea that is called modern day political slave and imbecile in the 21st century of human civilization for being so ignorant as to officially justify the said aggression, lost to shame. What the Lee group has done for Japan is the worst treachery as it is little short of offering the whole of south Korea to Japan. No sooner had the Lee group come to power than it frantically pursued confrontation with fellow countrymen, kowtowing to outsiders. Considering this development as a golden opportunity of hyping the issue of the islet as a regional dispute, Japan is becoming craftier as the days go by in its moves to grab the islet. No one can predict what miserable disaster the Korean nation will suffer as long as the group persists in its acts of treachery to serve Japan. There is no room for the group of traitors to stay in Korea. The Koreans in the south and all other Koreans should more vigorously turn out in the sacred struggle to hold in check the Lee group's pro-Japanese sycophancy and defend the sovereignty and dignity of the nation and its territorial integrity under the banner of "By our nation itself." |
