The rest homes have opened their doors in Mt. Kobang of Pyongyang, Mt. Myohyang of North Phyongan Province, Onpho of North Hamgyong Province, Songdan and Jongphyong of South Hamgyong Province, Sokdamgugok of South Hwanghae Province and other places.

The Sokdamgugok Rest Home is located in a place which spreads different beautiful sceneries according to seasons, harmonized with such historic relics as Chonggye Pavilion, Ryogum Pavilion and Sohyon Auditorium, and a reservoir. Spending pleasant days there with sightseeing, mountaineering, visit to historic relics, amusement games and others, the holiday-makers are feeling their hearts warming up at fatherly love of General Secretary Kim Jong Il who has provided them with this happiness.
