Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- Seminars on the joint New Year editorial published by newspapers of the party, the army and the youth league in the DPRK were held by the Ukrainian National Coordinating Committee of the Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea on Jan. 12 and 13.
Gennadi Berdishev, honorary chairman of the Ukrainian National Coordinating Committee of the Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Association for the Study of Songun Policy, said that in the joint editorial the DPRK set it as the general orientation of struggle for this year to make a leap forward on all fronts through a great revolutionary surge, reviewing last year's achievements and advancing the tasks to be carried out this year.
The Korean people will surely attain the high goals for building a great prosperous and powerful nation while overcoming all hardships through a new great revolutionary surge that inherited the grand Chollima advance and thus open the gate to a thriving nation in 2012, he stressed.
M. Gamrul Huda, secretary general of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, and other speakers expressed full sympathy with the joint editorial, saying that it correctly reflects the requirement of the present era.
They held that the world peace-loving people should closely unite themselves and stand by the side of the Korean people against the moves of the U.S. imperialists and their followers to stifle the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the socialist system centered on the popular masses.
