Roberto Gabriele, general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee at the ceremony.

The committee decided to hold colorful events such as meeting, seminar on the feats of Kim Jong Il and lecture on the occasion of the February holiday.
