Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- The Action Headquarters of the Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration for Forcing the Lee Myung Bak Regime to Step Down in south Korea issued a statement on January 16 denouncing the puppet police authorities' suppression of the "Action Group for Lee Myung Bak's Resignation."
The statement referred to the vigorous activities being conducted by the action group, made up of youth and students affiliated to the south Korean Federation of University Student Councils, in Seoul, accusing the police authorities of leaving no means untried to obstruct the group's activities and threaten it.
No matter how desperately the running dogs of the present regime are working to obstruct and stamp out the activities of the progressive and patriotic forces and blindfold the people's eyes and stop their ears, they never stem violent trend of the people demanding Lee's resignation, the statement noted, bitterly denouncing the police authorities' suppression of the action group.
It urged the Lee regime to immediately step down as it is forcing all the people to suffer from suppression, tyrannical rule and the deterioration of their living.
