In the new year the Lee group has not uttered even a word about the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. On the contrary, the traitor let loose nonsensical remarks that "cooperation would never help improve the north-south relations" only to glaringly reveal his true intention of negating the inter-Korean joint declarations and standing in the way of their implementation, the commentary notes, and goes on:

This clearly proves that the "respect for declarations" so far touted by the group is no more than an empty talk and sheer sophism intended to deceive the public at home and abroad and make a mockery of it and evade the responsibility for having bedeviled the inter-Korean relations.

The Lee group's disclosure of its negative attitude towards the inter-Korean joint declarations is little short of revealing its stand against national reconciliation, unity and reunification.

With nothing can the group cover up its treacherous true colors as it has pushed the north-south relations to the crisis of total severance while persistently opposing the above-said joint declarations and pursuing confrontation and war, not national reconciliation and unity and seeking division, not reunification since its seizure of power.

This time the Lee Myung Bak conservative group openly rejected the north-south cooperation, after throwing away its deceptive motto of "respect of declarations." This clearly indicates that it has no willingness to implement the above-said joint declarations but pursues a treacherous aim to realize its ambition for invading the north at any cost while standing in confrontation with it.

The prevailing serious situation goes to clearly prove that the Lee group has become all the more undisguised in its negative stand on the declarations and that due to its reckless acts the all-out confrontation between the north and the south may lead to a war against the north any time.
