Lee Myung Bak's Anti-Reunification Acts Flayed in S. Korea
Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- The South Side Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea' Reunification issued a statement titled "We oppose the Lee Myung Bak group's Cabinet reshuffle aimed to drive the inter-Korean relations to the worst phase" on January 20.

The statement referred to the fact that Hyon In Thaek, professor at Korea University, whom Lee is set to appoint as minister of "Unification", was involved in shaping the confrontational policy, the keynote of which is "no nuke, opening and 3,000 dollars." Lee's intention is nothing but a declaration of a war as it is designed to pursue the hostile policy towards the DPRK in all aspects, it noted, and continued:

The authorities' persistent insistence on the above-mentioned policy at a time when the military tension is increasing in this land and the inter-Korean relations are in the crisis of total severance is little short of doing harm to the destiny of the nation.

If the Lee regime pursues the confrontational policy dating back to the era of the Cold War in utter disregard of the cherished desire of fellow countrymen for peace and reunification and requirements of the times and the nation, the people will be left with no option but to struggle against the regime.
