It is the Korean nation that directly undertakes the movement for national reunification, and no one can replace it in this struggle. All Koreans who love the country and are concern about the destiny of the nation, whether they be in the north, or in the south or overseas, should struggle in firm unity, regarding the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration as the guidepost for national reunification and the common action program, irrespective of differences in ideology and ism, religious belief, political view, classes and strata.

Many difficulties and trials are still lying in the way for national reunification, but bright is the prospect of independent reunification, peace and prosperity. Neither outsiders' interference in the problem of reunification and their obstruction, nor anti-reunification moves of the sycophantic traitorous forces going against the desire of the times and the nation can check the dynamic advance of the Korean nation towards independent reunification, peace and prosperity, the article concludes.
