Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- Preparatory committees for commemorating the Day of the Sun and February 16 were formed in Equatorial Guinea, Syria and Kyrgyzstan in the period from January 21 to 26.
The director of the International Department of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, Fayez Ismail, general secretary of the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria, and the chairman of the Central Council of "Kyrgyz L." People's Unity Party were elected chairmen of the preparatory committees at the inaugural ceremonies.
The preparatory committees decided to hold colorful events including meetings, photo exhibitions, film shows, seminars and round-table talks on the occasions of the Day of the Sun and the February holiday.
