Actions for Eliminating Lee Myung Bak Group Called for

Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group has frantically pursued confrontation with fellow countrymen, bringing to naught the precious successes made thanks to the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and persistently hamstringing the efforts to implement the declarations and replacing the inter-Korean relations by those of confrontation in the past era of dictatorship. These are never-to-be condoned crimes.

Rodong Sinmun Sunday observes this in a signed commentary.

The commentary cites facts to prove that the policy of confrontation with the DPRK pursued by the group is the root cause of the acts blocking national reconciliation and unity and the reunification of the country and the very source of military conflicts and war between the north and the south.

In Korea in the state of armistice confrontation means escalated tension and it may lead to an uncontrollable and unavoidable military conflict and a war.

As the group is seeking a way out of its serious ruling crisis in the confrontation with the DPRK and in the provocation of a war and going reckless, bereft of any reason and discretion, nobody can predict when it will impose unavoidable great disasters upon the Koreans.

It is better to eliminate the group from the Korean nation as it is the root cause of the disasters suffered by the nation just as a mad dog should be beaten with a stick and poisonous plants should be rooted out.

With no rhetoric can the group cover up the true colors as traitors who have driven the inter-Korean relations to the brink of war today. It has committed too hideous crimes to dodge the judgment of history.

The group should bear in mind that should it persist in its reckless confrontation with the DPRK in defiance of the stern warnings served by it as it never makes empty talks, this will lead to its final destruction.

The Lee group would be well advised to draw a lesson from the miserable end met by those who desperately tried to do harm to the DPRK to realize their foolish dream.
