Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A round-table talk and a lecture were held in Egypt and Guinea on January 23 and 25 on the occasion of the birthday of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
Wahid Al Uksouri, chairman of the Misr Arab Socialist Party of Egypt, said at the round-table talk that February 16 is a meaningful day for the Korean people and the world progressives as it promised the rosy future and brilliant victory of the socialist cause.
Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea of President Kim Il Sung, the pioneer of the cause of independence, into the steadfast guiding idea for the cause of independence, the socialist cause, and has pursued the unique Songun policy, he stressed.
Camano Vitor, chairman of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Conakry of Guinea, said at the lecture that the DPRK's tradition of single-minded unity, which can never be found in any other country, has been successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Il. The Korean people's trust and reverence for him are incomparably deep, he added.
The single-minded unity of the DPRK is just the unity in ideology and purpose based on the conviction and determination of the army and people to share the will with their leader and devotedly safeguard him, the lecturer stressed.
