Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, U.S. Congress adopted a resolution on confirming that Israel has the right to counter attacks of Hamas of Palestine. The U.S. also abstained from voting when a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was adopted at the UNSC. Included in the weapons used by Israel for the offensive operations against the Gaza Strip are GPS guided bombs, DIME and underground penetration bombs developed and delivered by the U.S. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says that all these facts indicate the U.S. is, indeed, a wrecker of the world peace and security, a heinous human rights abuser and an arch criminal that has sparked international disputes. Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip this time had something in common with the U.S. invasion of Iraq both in view of a surprise attack Israel mounted and a pretext it used for the invasion in utter disregard of the UN and the international community, the commentary notes, and goes on: It is quite doubtful that Israel made attacks on the Gaza Strip according to a U.S. scenario. The U.S. has zealously patronized Israel, hideous murderer. Such behavior of the U.S. gives a clear answer to the question as to why slogans "Death to the U.S.!" are repeatedly chanted in not a few countries of the world and attacks on the U.S. forces overseas are frequent. The U.S. will not be able to escape a stern judgment of history if it keeps wrecking peace and stability, violating human rights and fostering and escalating disputes in different parts of the world while persistently colluding with such allies as Israel. |
