Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The Electronic Materials Institute under the State Academy of Sciences of the DPRK has made many achievements in scientific researches which will substantially contribute to the betterment of the people's living.
A research team of the institute manufactured vibrating transport far-infrared dryers which are of weighty significance in production and applied them to basic foodstuff factories and agricultural and stock-breeding farms.
The units which have introduced the dryer into production saved electric power considerably as compared with the pre-application time while preventing the loss of products.
The scientists and technicians there have also developed efficient medical apparatuses including far-infrared sterilizer and thermostat and portable far-infrared medical appliance, which are helpful toward the improvement of the working people's health.
The institute has invented a seed-treatment method by direct-current high-tension, which enables agricultural production units to boost the seed-treatment efficacy with less investment.
