Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, sent a message of greetings to Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, on Tuesday on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the independence of Sri Lanka.
Expressing the belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Sri Lanka would grow stronger in several fields, Kim in the message sincerely wished the president greater successes in his noble work for the political stability of the country and national unity.
