Noting that the Supreme Court gave a decision defining Hanchong as an "enemy-benefiting organization" on the same day, the statement charged that the Lee group suddenly brought Hanchong to trial, branding it as an "enemy-benefiting organization" when the candlelight actions against the import of American beef were growing in intensity last year.

It expressed surging anger at the Lee Myung Bak "government" cruelly trampling down the legitimate and just activities of youths for democratization of society and national reunification.

Lee will never break the spirit of the young people though he intensifies crackdown by invoking the "National Security Law," the statement said, declaring that all the young people will more vigorously struggle for forcing the Lee regime to step down and bringing about a society free from NSL.
