Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Voters' meetings were held at constituencies organized at units of the Korean People's Army and in Pyongyang, Phyongsong, Sinuiju, Sariwon, Kanggye, Hamhung, Chollima County of South Phyongan Province, etc. in the wake of the electors' meeting held at Constituency No. 333 on Feb. 1 in which KPA Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il was first nominated as a candidate for deputy to the 12th SPA.
The meetings nominated Kim Jong Il as a candidate for deputy to the 12th SPA.
The reporters at the meetings courteously proposed the nomination of him as a candidate for deputy to the 12th SPA carrying the unanimous desire and ardent wishes of all the servicepersons and people. The speakers and all other voters expressed full support and approval of it.
They evinced their resolution to effect a new great revolutionary surge and bring about a great turn in the drive to open the gate to a great prosperous powerful socialist nation, proud of having nominated Kim Jong Il as a candidate for deputy to the 12th SPA.
The meetings solemnly declared that Kim Jong Il was nominated as a candidate for deputy to the 12th SPA in their constituencies, as unanimously desired by all the voters and absolutely supported and approved by all of them.
