Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification on Jan. 30 released a statement calling for checking and shattering the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors' moves for confrontation with the DPRK.
The statement accused Lee and the "Grand National Party" of rendering the south Korean economy bankrupt, murdering innocent civilians and pushing the situation to the brink of war through their moves for a war and confrontation.
Recalling that the Lee group is hell-bent on scattering leaflets and staging exercises for a war of aggression against the north, talking about the "unification under the liberal and democratic system" despite the strong resistance of the 70 million Koreans, the statement noted that it is the only way of weathering the worst crisis to force Lee to step down and get the GNP disbanded immediately.
The statement demanded Lee and the GNP halt at once the saber-rattling for war and confrontation and step down without delay.
It declared that the above-said organization would join the 70 million Koreans in the actions to resolutely foil the racket of the U.S. imperialists and the Lee group for war and confrontation.
