Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- A solidarity meeting took place in Romania on Jan. 24 to support the cause of the Korean people for national reunification.
Displayed at the venue were photographs introducing the Korean people in the efforts for building a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation.
Speeches were made there.
Daniel Dediu, chairman of the Romanian Workers' Association, and the representative of the Romanian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain elaborated on the content of the joint editorial published by Rodong Sinmun, Josoninmingun and Chongnyonjonwi, newspapers of the DPRK, on the occasion of 2009, noting that it advanced the tasks and ways for achieving the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.
They expressed full support and solidarity with the Korean people in the efforts to achieve national reunification under the banner of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
