Protests against Murder of Evacuees Continued in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- The struggle of people from different walks of life is going on in south Korea to denounce the puppet police and traitor Lee Myung Bak for having brutally killed evacuees, according to south Korean CBS and MBC.

The All-People Committee for Measures against the Murder of Evacuees in Ryongsan held the 17th candlelight meeting for mourning the victims in Seoul on Thursday at which it demanded punishment of the mastermind of the violent suppression, an apology from traitor Lee Myung Bak, an impartial investigation by the prosecution and etc.

On the same day, members of the Promotion Committee for Mass on Situation grouping the Buddhist Human Rights Committee and other Buddhist organizations held a mass on the situation in Seoul, condemning the recent murder in Ryongsan as a tragedy caused by the Lee Myung Bak regime's reckless "development policy".

Meanwhile, the above-said all-people committee and bereaved families of the victims called a press conference in Seoul on Wednesday, urging Lee Myung Bak's apology for the murder of evacuees and punishment of the chief of the Seoul District Police Office who directly commanded the violent quelling operation of the police.

On the evening of that day a candlelight rally took place at the Chonggye plaza in Seoul to cherish the memory of the victims and demand the punishment of murderer.
