Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- The Press Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration in south Korea issued a statement on Feb. 3 accusing the puppet authorities of having driven the inter-Korean relations into the worst crisis.
The statement held that the chief blame for the deteriorated relations between the north and the south and their present military confrontation is on the Lee Myung Bak "government".
The "government" invited the present tense situation by refusing to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, it pointed out.
Saying that the said declarations clearly elucidate the guidepost for peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula and the ways for implementing it, the statement urged the authorities to immediately set out on the road for reconciliation and cooperation with the north.
