Lee Myung Bak's Ridiculous Sophism Blasted
Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- Lee Myung Bak was so impudent as to let loose a spate of vituperations falsifying facts about the issue of inter-Korean relations at a "TV forum" held under the title of "round-table dialogue" on Jan. 30. This was ridiculous sophism intended to evade his responsibility for having driven the inter-Korean relations to uncontrollable catastrophe.

Minju Joson Saturday says this in a signed commentary.

Lee let loose sophism that the deteriorating inter-Korean relations are "nothing new." This betrays his intention to conceal his crimes and, furthermore, further bedevil the said relations than now, the commentary notes, and goes on:

This is evidenced by the fact that he talked nonsense that the "south-north relations will collapse if they make a haste start "and it is good for them "to start properly."

On the same day he jabbered that the "south-north relations will improve when the U.S.-north relations improve. This is little short of disclosing before the world the fact that south Korea is a colony of the U.S.

What should not be overlooked is that he dared bluster that "the north will come to know and should know" that the DPRK-U.S. relations can improve when there is "cooperation" from the south. The ill-intended "cooperation" touted by him this time is a sort of grumbling that the new U.S. Administration "should not unilaterally opt for improving its relations with the north without consent" of the south.

If Lee truly wants inter-Korean dialogue, he should kneel before the nation and apologize for having pursued confrontation, war and separatist moves, to begin with.
