The revolutionary site is associated with the immortal revolutionary history of Kim Jong Il who conducted energetic ideological, theoretical and military activities and showed warm loving care for campers from Aug. 20 to Oct. 4, Juche 51 (1962).

The participants of the study tour held a starting ceremony before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at Kim Il Sung University.

They laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statue.

At the ceremony Ri Kun Chol, first secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, called on all the participants to deeply grasp the great idea and undying exploits performed by the Songun brilliant commander, prepare themselves to be fortress and shield for devotedly defending the leader and demonstrate the spirit of successors to the Songun revolutionary cause and young vanguards in building a great prosperous and powerful nation.

The schoolchildren who arrived at the revolutionary site shouting slogans and singing revolutionary songs looked round the revolutionary relics and data preserved there with good care.

They held a poem recitation meeting before the monument of dedicated poem at the revolutionary site.
