Artur Lepecki, chairman of the Radom Branch of the Poland-Korea Association, in his speech said that celebrating the birthday of Kim Jong Il as a holiday common to humankind is an expression of the progressive people's boundless respect and reverence for him and their high appreciation of the great exploits performed by him in the cause of independence against imperialism.

Saying that the Korean people have turned out in the general advance full of firm determination, faith and optimism to fling open the gate to a great prosperous and powerful nation at any cost in 2012 marking the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung, true to the Songun leadership pursued by Kim Jong Il, he expressed his firm belief that the Korean people will surely win.

Malik Souma, director general of the Kim Il Sung Institute of Agricultural Science in Guinea, in a speech said that he is recollecting the personality of Kim Jong Il as a great man who is fully supported not only by the Korean people but the world progressive people for his extraordinary political ability and noble traits, on the occasion of the significant February holiday.

Bonakele Majuba, secretary of the Mpumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party, at the lecture stressed that the Korean people are sure to build a great prosperous and powerful socialist nation in the near future thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
