Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- The Czech, Moravian, Silesian Trade Unions' Association of the Czech Republic expressed support for the statement issued by the DPRK Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea.
The association in its statement released on Feb. 3 noted that the situation on the Korean Peninsula grew tenser and the inter-Korean relations inched close to the brink of a war due to the south Korean conservative forces' moves for confrontation with the DPRK.
Referring to the fact that the said forces are not giving up their moves to provoke the DPRK, the statement asserted that this goes to clearly prove that the U.S. imperialists and the conservative Lee Myung Bak group are chieftains destroying peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.
It urged the south Korean "government" to immediately stop the anti-DPRK confrontational moves and opt for reconciliation and unity of the nation if it wants a peace on the Korean Peninsula, demanding the U.S. put an end to its hostile policy toward the DPRK and withdraw its aggression armed forces as well as nuclear weapons from south Korea as early as possible.
