Traitor Lee Myung Bak's Nonsensical Remarks Blasted

Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- Some time ago traitor Lee Myung Bak, pretending to be unperturbed by the statement issued by the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea, talked nonsense that "the north's strongly worded statement is nothing new". He went the lengths of talking about "sincerity" and "affection" in an effort to create impression that he cares for fellow countrymen.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

Such sophism let loose by the traitor is nothing but a crafty and mean trick to distort the serious situation in which the north-south relations have reached the brink of a war, cover up the nature of the situation and evade the responsibility for the crime he has committed by pushing the situation to an extreme phase.

The Lee group is taking much pain to cover up the reality of the inter-Korean relations now on the verge of total collapse, while pretending to remain calm and collected in face of the present situation. The group is, however, sadly mistaken if it thinks it can evade the responsibility for having bedeviled the inter-Korean relations with such a poor trick.

The traitor has pushed the inter-Korean relations to so serious and dangerous phase that such poor word-mongering would not help mislead public opinion at home and abroad or evade the responsibility.

No matter what rhetoric the group of traitors may let loose, it can never evade the blame for having driven the north-south relations to an uncontrollable phase.

The group is working hard to divert elsewhere the criticism of it and justify its criminal "policy toward the north" with an eye to keep pursuing it. It is crystal clear to everybody that this is prompted by its criminal intention to further deteriorate the inter-Korean relations and provoke a war of aggression against the DPRK.

While striving to solve the national issue, the DPRK can never deal with such traitors as they are steeped in the traitorous way of thinking not to allow any switchover in their confrontational stand, utterly indifferent to the fate of the inter-Korean relations, and they do not feel guilty of the hideous crimes they have committed against the nation.

It is the unshakable will of the army and people of the DPRK to settle accounts with the Lee group to the last as it is desperately trying to do harm to the DPRK with daggers under its belt.

The group of traitors will certainly be forced to pay a dear price for the unpardonable acts of treachery they have committed, going against the trend of the times.
