Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- The International Department of the Socialist Party-Ample Front and the Canar Provincial Institute for the Friendship and Solidarity with the DPRK of Ecuador released a joint statement on Jan. 27 in support of the statement issued by a spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army which declared that the KPA would honorably defend the territory of the country by smashing all kinds of obstructive moves on the part of traitor Lee Myung Bak.
The statement said that it is the noble mission of the world revolutionaries to wage the movement for solidarity with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Noting that reunification of Korea is the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese heroine Kim Jong Suk, three commanders of Mt. Paektu, it clarified that the DPRK has taken many just measures for the reunification of the nation and durable peace.
It denounced traitor Lee Myung Bak for committing acts of checking reunification of Korea without hesitation, kowtowing to the imperialists this year.
The statement indicted the Lee clique before the world for threatening world peace and strongly condemned them, expressing invariable solidarity with the Korean people.
