Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- The Action Headquarters of the Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration to Force the Lee Myung Bak Regime to Step Down in south Korea in a statement issued on Feb. 6 denounced the puppet authorities for their unreasonable suppression of a young pro-reunification patriot.
The statement referred to the fact that the court bench held a trial on Feb. 5 at which it sentenced Kim Pok Gi, executive chairperson of the Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, to a jail term, suspension of qualification and fine.
The attitude of the court bench can never be pardoned as it unilaterally sided with the prosecution forsaken and denounced by the people, the statement charged, bitterly condemning the court bench for sentencing Kim to penal servitude, to serve the treacherous regime hell-bent on killing people.
The statement stressed that the crackdown upon people intensified by the security forces, siding with those in power, would only give further momentum to the all-people resistance movement for forcing the Lee regime to step down.
