Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain issued a statement on Jan. 26 fully supporting the statement issued by a spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army.
The statement vehemently denounced the Lee Myung Bak group of south Korea for having pushed the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a war, disregarding the agreements adopted between the north and the south of Korea.
The statement noted that entirely just was the principled stand clarified by the General Staff of the KPA to cope with the evermore undisguised provocative moves of the Lee Myung Bak fascist clique.
Accusing the group of having rendered the situation on the Korean Peninsula extremely tense in wanton violation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, the statement declared that the organization would stand by the side of the army and people of the DPRK defending socialism and the peace of the world.
