The above-said forum was, in a nutshell, nothing but a mean anti-reunification burlesque intended to cover up the traitorous nature of the "policy of co-existence and co-prosperity," an anachronistic theory of confrontation, and solicit "support" for it and incite the atmosphere of inter-Korean confrontation among the broad public circles.

The much ado about "those abducted by the north" and "POWs of the south Korean army" made by the Lee group is designed to divert elsewhere the criticism of it, fan up the atmosphere of confrontation with compatriots and persistently escalate it under the pretext of "settling the issues," the commentary notes, and goes on:

The reality goes to prove that the moves of the Lee group to stoke the consciousness of confrontation with fellow countrymen among south Korean people, desperately pursuant to the traitorous "policy of confrontation" despite the strong rebuff and opposition of the public at home and abroad, have reached a grave phase.

With no sheer sophism can the group falsify truth. No matter how hard the group may work to advertise "its policy towards the north" and quell the mindset of the south Korean people towards reunification through alliance with the north, it can never stem the trend of the times.

The inter-Korean confrontation racket desperately kicked up by the group, forsaken by the nation, would only precipitate its miserable destruction.
