Present there were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, leading officials of the working people's organizations and officials of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and the Democratic Women's Union of Korea and working people.

At the gathering of workers and members of the GFTUK a reporter and speakers said that
Kim Jong Il has led the Korean revolution to victory with his extraordinary ideological and theoretical wisdom, distinguished political calibre and noble virtues and thus performed undying exploits before the country and people, times and history.

They underlined the need for all the workers and members of the GFTUK to bring about miracles and innovations in production and construction, true to the leadership of Kim Jong Il, with the absolute faith that the prosperity of the country and the genuine life and happiness are guaranteed by him.

A reporter and speakers at the meeting of agricultural workers noted that his glorious revolutionary history is replete with the days of his love of the country, nation and people with which he has brought a great heyday of building a thriving nation to this land, true to President Kim Il Sung's idea and cause.

They expressed their determination to give full play to the spirit of devotedly defending the leader and devotedly implement the Party's policy of bringing about a radical turn in agriculture, with pure and clean conscience and noble sense of obligation to uphold Kim Jong Il forever.

A reporter and speakers at the oath-taking meeting of officials and members of the Democratic Women's Union of Korea said that the Korean people have been blessed with the illustrious leaders generation after generation as they are holding Kim Jong Il in high esteem, dynamically moving forward along the road of Songun pioneered in Mt. Paektu. They expressed their determination to keep up powerfully rolling one of the two wheels of revolution under his leadership.
