The 18th International Figure Skating Festival for Paektusan Prize will take place in the Ice Rink located on the picturesque bank of River Pothong amid interests of world progressive people and figure skating experts.

Famous figure skaters from the DPRK, China, Russia, France and other countries will display their special techniques in the festival.

The Skating Association of the DPRK is making preparations for the successful festival at the last stage.

There will be a demonstration performance of synchronized swimming by Korean athletes at the swimming pool of the Changgwang Health Complex in celebration of the February 16 holiday.

Along with the ongoing Paektusan Cup Sports Contest, sports games will be organized among the working people.

The sports contests will stir up the festive mood.
