Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- The Action Headquarters of the Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration to Force the Lee Myung Bak Regime to Step Down in south Korea made public a statement on Feb. 11 to slash at the bellicose remarks made by the commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea.
The above-said commander in a recent press interview claimed that they would prevent "outbreak of war" by someone. And he announced that they would set up the south Korea-U.S. "Combined Air-force Command" in Osan, Kyonggi Province, and round off a new "operation plan" for invasion of the DPRK.
Recalling the facts, the statement stressed that the chief culprit threatening peace on the Korean Peninsula is none other than the U.S. troops who have been hell-bent on the ceaseless moves for a war of aggression after occupying south Korea. Nevertheless, the U.S. forces are pulling up the DPRK over "provocation," which reminds one of a thief crying "Stop thief!", it charged.
It pointed out that the U.S. is again making preparations for the Key Resolve joint military exercises intended to invade the DPRK in collusion with the south Korean war-like forces at the time when the danger of a war is inching close to the Korean Peninsula.
The statement demanded that the U.S. stop provocative war moves against the DPRK and immediately withdraw its forces from south Korea.
