Displayed in the venue of the seminar were famous works of the peerless great men, photographs showing their immortal exploits and books and photographs introducing the shining successes made by the Korean people in building a great prosperous powerful nation.

Present there were figures of political parties and organizations including the People's Socialist Party, the Socialist Popular Party of Mexico, the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, the Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Friend Association for Memory of President Kim Il Sung and the Mexico-Korea Friendship Association and masses.

Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party, said in his congratulatory speech made at the seminar that the key to the steady victory of Korean-style socialism even under the complex international situation lies in that Kim Jong Il has wisely led the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people holding high the banner of Juche, the banner of Songun.

Ramon Jimenez Lopez, chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism, said in his report that the WPK and the Korean people have embodied the Juche idea, the Songun idea under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il, turning the country into an invincible socialist fortress, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-defensive in national defence, which the U.S. imperialists dare not invade.

Speakers deeply explained and proved the essence, validity and vitality of the Juche idea, the Songun idea, adding that the reality of the DPRK proved the immutable truth that only when a country holds high the banner of independence can it build a free and prosperous new world while frustrating the aggression, interference and arbitrary practices of the imperialists.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar.
