The magazine in an article titled "Centering on Popular Masses" said that the Korean people celebrate the birthday of Kim Jong Il as the greatest holiday of the nation.

Noting that Kim Jong Il has developed and enriched the Juche idea fathered by President Kim Il Sung into the guiding idea of the revolution representing the era of independence and wisely led the construction of Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses, the article went on:

He has foiled anti-socialist moves of the imperialist forces and defended sovereignty of the country and the nation and socialism with the invincible political and military might.

True to the behests of the President for the country's reunification, Kim Jong Il provided the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration with patriotism to give hope for reunification to the Korean people and thus aroused fellow countrymen to the struggle for frustrating the moves of the anti-reunification forces.

The magazine also edited articles denouncing the anti-reunification crimes committed by the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors in south Korea and introducing the DPRK.
