The provincial (municipal), city (district) and county election committees for the elections of deputies to the 12th SPA had been formed by the middle of January and then the constituencies and sub-constituencies have been formed and commenced their work from February 1.

The election committees at all levels are making preparations in a scrupulous way strictly in accordance with the regulations relative to the application of the Law on the Elections of Deputies to the People's Assemblies at All Levels of the DPRK.

They are making voters' lists and registering candidates for deputies and are posting them.

Efforts are being directed to arranging polling stations well.

Brisk information activities are being done among residents in various forms and ways.

The provincial, city and county people's committees are helping positively the election committees in their work by providing them with all necessary conditions for the election preparations.
