Displayed in the venues of events in Romania, Mongolia and Laos were photos showing the exploits of Kim Jong Il and photos introducing Songun Korea.

Speeches were made at the meetings.

Niculae Pavelescu, vice-chairman of the Romanian Socialist Union, said that Kim Jong Il has wisely led the Korean people regarding the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung as the guiding idea.

Daniel Dediu, chairman of the Romanian Workers' Association, after elaborating on Kim Jong Il's immortal work "Abuses of Socialism Are Intolerable" said that they should avidly read more works of Kim Jong Il in order to have better understanding of the victory and the development of Korean-style socialism.

E. Maksim, executive chairperson of the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, noted that Kim Jong Il has wisely guided all affairs of the party, the army and the state by carrying forward the revolutionary cause of the President.

The attendants of the film shows watched Korean films introducing Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan secret camp and the grand gymnastic and art performance "Arirang" and dealing with the happiness of the Korean children.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings.
