Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, on Feb. 19 sent a congratulatory message to Hugo Chavez Frias, President of Venezuela, as regards the fact that an amendment to the Constitution, proposed by him, enjoyed the unreserved support from the people in a referendum conducted in the country.
This is an expression of the Venezuelan people's absolute trust and hope on the president and the Bolivarian socialist revolution, Kim said in the message, wholeheartedly wishing him greater success in his noble work for the independent development of the country and welfare of the friendly Venezuelan people.
