On display at the venues of the events were works of the peerlessly great men and photos showing their undying revolutionary exploits and other photos introducing the successes achieved by the Korean people under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Speeches were made at the meetings.

Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, said that Kim Jong Il has wisely led the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people, successfully carrying forward the revolutionary idea and undying exploits of President
Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea.

The revolutionary parties and peoples of the world have been encouraged by the struggle of the WPK and the Korean people advancing under the banner of socialism, he added.

Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, highly praised the tremendous vitality of the Songun politics, saying that Kim Jong Il has developed in depth the Songun idea founded by Kim Il Sung to lead the party and state with the Songun politics.

He expressed the will to invigorate the solidarity movement supporting the Korean people in their just struggle to successfully carry out the tasks set forth in the joint New Year editorial and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Darkhan-Uul Provincial Committee of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party expressed the will to contribute to the development of the DPRK-Mongolia friendly relations.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Il were adopted at the meetings held in Switzerland and Mongolia.
