Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- The treacherous policy pursued by the Lee Myung Bak group is a harsh policy of abusing human rights as it drives the majority of the working people to death, letting them die like flies, to ensure its "ruling security" and meet the interests of a handful of the privileged. Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a signed commentary in this regard: The recent murder of evacuees in Ryongsan was a shuddering tragedy, a result of the unpopular policy of abusing human rights pursued by the group of traitors. The Lee group is more vociferous about "human rights" than its predecessors. But the reality clearly proves that the human rights abuses committed by the group put the past military fascist hooligans into the shade. The group is setting the puppet prosecution and conservative media in motion to hide the crime it committed by burning innocent evacuees to death and shamelessly pass the buck for the tragedy to the victims in a bid to mislead the public opinion. It has gone the lengths of perpetrating again such fascist atrocity as hurling its repressive force into indiscriminately cracking down upon the protesters against the murder. South Korea has turned into a graveyard of democracy and human rights and a dark fascist society rare to be found in the world. Unpardonable are the above-said crimes the Lee group has committed against humanity in the first year of its office by pursuing a fascist dictatorial policy of ruthlessly quelling the desire and wishes of the people for democracy and rights. It is proven in reality that neither human rights nor democratic freedom are thinkable under Lee's dictatorial rule. |
