Michael Chant, secretary of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist－Leninist), in a statement on Feb. 13 noted that Kim Jong Il has converted the DPRK into an impregnable fortress as it has defence capability strong enough to beat back any aggression by imperialists.

Kim Jong Il has honorably carried forward the cause of President Kim Il Sung, the statement said, and went on:

We set store by the relations with the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people and regard the victory achieved by the WPK as our own.

The acting director for Political Affairs and International Relations of the Pan-African Movement in a statement on Feb. 12 highly praised Kim Jong Il as a great man who has performed immortal exploits for the cause of global independence by propounding outstanding ideas and theories and making revolutionary practices.

The statement said that the Songun policy is a policy which firmly protects and fully meets the requirements of the popular masses for independence and their interests and prepares them as the most revolutionary and militant and noblest people, adding that the Songun policy pursued by
Kim Jong Il will always triumph.
