The secretary in charge of the ideological work of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan in a lecture said that Kim Jong Il put forward the army as the main force and established the mode of the unique Songun politics to defend the country, the revolution and socialism and push ahead with the overall socialist construction by relying on it in the 1990s when the moves of the imperialist allied forces to stifle the DPRK were at their height.

He noted that Kim Jong Il has attached priority to strengthening the military power, regarding the military affairs as the most important national affairs and the military power as the most important national strength in the struggle to defend socialism.

The chairman of the Group for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea of Democratic Congo in a lecture noted that while inspecting units of the Korean People's Army, Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il has made sure that all the servicepersons were fully prepared in political, ideological and military technical aspects and taken warm care of their military service and living as their parents would do.

It is no accident that the KPA servicepersons are replete with the resolution to devotedly fight for the sake of their supreme commander while remaining absolutely true to his idea and leadership, he said.

The vice-chairman of the Brazilian Workers' Party said at the round-table talks that the Songun politics of Kim Jong Il is the most just political mode for defending the sovereignty of the country under the present complicated international situation and its validity and vitality are fully displayed in the DPRK.
